Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Production Worker to join our team at ATI. As a Production Worker in the Atomizer department, you will play a crucial role in the atomization process, transforming molten metal into high-quality powder used in aerospace, nuclear, and national defense applications. Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment, monitoring chemistries, and ensuring the efficient operation of the atomizing unit.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate equipment
- Prepare raw materials and oversee powder chemistry
- Efficiently execute heat preparation for continuous atomization
- Perform various refractory tasks
- Clean, inspect, and install equipment
- Verify readiness for atomization
- Handle furnace removal and installation
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, Military, or Industrial experience
Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
