Application Engineer (React Native)

Discover Financial Services is hiring an Application Engineer (React Native)

We are looking for a results-driven Application Engineer to join our dynamic team at Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will collaborate with product designers and user experience experts to enhance the discover.com experience. By leveraging your expertise in React Native and frontend technologies, you will contribute to creating an outstanding user interface for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality.
• Provide guidance and support to Associate and Senior Associate Application Engineers.
• Lead technology communities and foster innovation within Discover.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related area.
• Technical proficiency on the Dreyfus engineering scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React Native, Redux, and frontend application frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented principles and software testing.
