Job Description
JBI Helicopter Services, based in Abbeville, LA, is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic to join our team on a full-time year-round basis. The position involves a mix of maintenance work, ground support duties, and potential travel requirements. We are looking for a safety-conscious individual who is adaptable, quick to learn, and committed to meeting customer needs.
Requirements
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic License - REQUIRED
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum 3 years of helicopter maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 70lbs, work on knees, bend, crouch, and reach overhead
- Experience with aircraft documentation and flight line procedures
- Own tools and willingness to relocate within a 1-hour commute of Abbeville, LA
- Preferred: IA, Sheet Metal, Avionics, Bell Helicopter products experience, Factory training, CDL
