Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impact, and documenting actions taken. Collaborating with various teams, you will actively manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to ensure timely resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle of assigned Problems, coordinating actions to resolve issues.
  • Challenge root cause analysis and coordinate actions for issue resolution.
  • Maintain inventory of problems and monitor progress in ServiceNow.
  • Identify and propose process improvements and mentor Service Support Specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.
