Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures before, during, and after the process. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients, assisting physicians, operating equipment, and ensuring quality patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, prep patients, and document procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks.
Requirements
- Completion of accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology.
- Graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program or equivalent training for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Basic computer skills, exceptional communication, and customer service skills.
