Job Description
Corewell Health is looking for a Special Procedure Tech to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your role will involve assisting physicians, monitoring patients, operating equipment, and ensuring quality patient-centered care throughout the procedure.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and patient care during procedures.
- Perform IV starts, document procedures, and educate patients and families.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Certifications such as BLS and ACLS as per department requirements.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
