General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various radiology areas, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. You will adhere to radiation protection principles, provide patient-centered care, and maintain clinical instruction standards.
Essential Duties
- Performs quality diagnostic exams with a focus on patient safety.
- Acquires accurate patient history and documents medical records.
- Communicates effectively with all team members and patients.
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and maintains equipment.
- Provides patient education and contributes to department operations.
- Training of students/new hires and compliance with quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-Radiographer (R), CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration, CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS).
