Project Manager

Job Description

Ethan Conrad Properties Inc is looking for a dedicated Project Manager to oversee the construction phase of commercial construction projects. The Project Manager will report directly to the Senior Project Manager and the President of Construction, ensuring project success through effective leadership and management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage overall project success and supervise Superintendent and Project Engineers.
• Procure bids, award subcontracts, and ensure adherence to schedule and design documents.
• Oversee accurate job cost postings and estimate general project conditions.
• Coordinate with consultants during design and construction phases, facilitating decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with Company protocols, evaluate value engineering options, and participate in design review meetings.
• Track project timelines, budgets, and provide regular updates on project progress.
• Review construction details, collaborate on final concept drawings, and participate in project completion reviews.
• Prepare close-out documents, review submittals, and work with Superintendent on schedule management.
• Travel to Salinas and surrounding areas as needed.

Requirements

Required Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3 years of preconstruction management experience or 5 years in construction management.

Required Skills: Strong team building, decision-making, and communication skills. Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office.
