School- Based Occupational Therapist

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thrive Therapies Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will collaborate with school partners and practitioners to assess students' needs, develop intervention plans, and facilitate student success in both academic and personal growth. Your role will involve drafting and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and leading relevant meetings to support students' progress. We are seeking a dedicated professional who believes in the power of connection and is committed to creating a nurturing environment for children with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate students' needs and develop intervention plans.
• Support students' academic and personal growth by setting high expectations and providing individualized care.
• Communicate with educators and parents, providing support and guidance for student success.
• Lead meetings and develop IEP goals for students on your caseload.

Requirements

• Pass a background check prior to employment.
• Hold a National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and an active TN State license.
