Larson Financial Group, LLC is looking to hire a talented individual for the position of Financial Planner at our Fort Wayne, IN office. This role involves working directly with clients to help them achieve their financial objectives through meticulous follow-up, client meeting preparations, and managing client information files. The ideal candidate will excel at handling both people and processes, enjoy challenges, and be dedicated to providing top-notch service while establishing lasting client relationships.

In this client-facing position, you will leverage your industry expertise to collaborate with the Advisory team in delivering exceptional client experiences. The role is fast-paced, requiring a passion for learning, career advancement, and the ability to navigate challenges while celebrating accomplishments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and conducting client meetings.
  • Gathering client data for financial plan preparation.
  • Running insurance illustrations and crafting financial plans.
  • Communicating investment advice based on team recommendations.
  • Managing and tracking the planning process for clients.
  • Providing exceptional service to maintain top client relationships.
  • Entering and managing data in Contact Management System and Financial Planning software.
  • Implementing client interactions for a personalized experience leading to consistent referrals.
  • Managing new business processing and existing client relationships.
  • Resolving client issues efficiently.

  • Collaborative teamwork with Advisors and support team members towards common goals.

  • Serving as the primary point of contact for a designated client group, providing comprehensive financial support.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years' experience in Financial Planning.
  • Series 7 license is mandatory.
  • Active financial planner status is required.
  • Additional CFP certification is a plus.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in insurance/financial services industry practices.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Outlook, financial planning software, and Salesforce.
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to adapt to software updates.
  • Flexible schedule for client meetings and events.
  • Proactive, professional, and assertive approach.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and positive teamwork demeanor.
  • Adherence to industry rules and regulations.
