Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Store Manager to join the Boy Scouts of America - Supply Group team. In this role, you will oversee the Jacksonville Scout Shop, managing overall sales, net profitability, and building relationships with the local Boy Scouts of America Council and associated camps. You will lead a team to drive sales, ensure operational excellence, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage store operations through staff members.
  • Lead Sales Associates and facilitate sales growth.
  • Train and develop a knowledgeable staff.
  • Implement efficient store scheduling.
  • Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Oversee inventory and visual merchandising.
  • Recruit, interview, and train Sales staff.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience.
  • 3+ years of retail sales experience.
  • Excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Flexibility in work schedule.
  • Knowledge of Scouting Program preferred.
  • Proficiency in communication and financial reporting.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Operating Hours

  • Monday: 9am - 6pm
  • Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 5pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 2pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

Salary Details

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.50
