Job Description
Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) interested in providing one-on-one care in the home health setting? Join ChristianaCare as a Private Duty Nurse to deliver expert medical care to patients of all ages, including administering medications, gastric tube feedings, tracheostomy maintenance, and ventilator support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Build positive relationships with patients and families.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Experience in home health or Long Term Care is a plus.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator experience.
- Ability to work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
