Job Description
Are you a compassionate nurse interested in providing one-on-one care to patients in the home health setting? ChristianaCare is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. In this role, you will deliver expert care to medically fragile pediatric and/or adult patients across Delaware. Responsibilities include coordinating care with families and healthcare providers, administering medications, and more.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to medically fragile patients.
- Coordinate care with families and healthcare providers.
- Build positive relationships with patients.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Work a minimum of two weekend shifts per month.
Requirements
- DE LPN or RN license with 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Ability to attend orientation and field training.
- Home health or Long Term Care experience preferred.
- Tracheostomy and ventilator experience a plus.
