Are you a compassionate nurse seeking a rewarding opportunity to provide one-on-one care to patients in the comfort of their homes? ChristianaCare is looking for a dedicated Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to join our HomeHealth team. In this role, you will deliver expert care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients, coordinating with families and healthcare providers to ensure the highest level of medical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to medically fragile patients.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient support.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Build rapport with patients through compassionate and courteous service.
- Participate in weekend shifts as required.
Requirements
- Active DE LPN or RN license with at least 1 year of healthcare experience.
- Completion of a two-week orientation and field training.
- Prior experience in home health or Long Term Care is advantageous.
- Preference for candidates with tracheostomy and ventilator expertise.
