Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, under the umbrella of Family & Community Services Inc. This full-time position involves working closely with our Clinical Director and Medical Director to provide essential medical support and care to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication under medical supervision and in accordance with regulations.
• Monitor and report on client health and medication responses.
• Provide emergency care and first aid when necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all interactions and procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and committees as required.
• Adhere to all organizational, state, and federal guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Skill in administering medications and gathering health information.
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients.
• First Aid, CPR, and De-escalation training required.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Practical nursing degree and relevant certifications.
• Prior mental health nursing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Clear communication and ability to drive to off-site locations. Must be physically capable of required duties.

Compensation

Hourly wage range: $21-$21.
