Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This position, working the Midnight shift, involves performing diagnostic CT exams using advanced imaging equipment while adhering to established protocols to ensure the best possible patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for verifying patient information, preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Verifies patient identification and physician orders.
- Provides patient education and procedural information.
- Performs CT exams and associated patient care activities.
- Operates CT imaging equipment proficiently.
- Ensures patient safety during procedures.
- Maintains cleanliness and order in the exam room.
- Uses hospital computer systems for order verification and documentation.
- Communicates effectively with medical staff and management.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
