Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg team at Porter Medical Center. The Med/Surg floor is a fast-paced environment focused on providing high-quality patient care and pursuing excellent clinical outcomes. Our team also cares for individuals requiring advanced treatment, predominantly DKA and A-Fib patients. The unit consists of 17 rooms accommodating up to 25 patients, with private and semi-private rooms equipped for various needs, including isolation and negative pressure requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate and evidence-based patient care.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
