Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles, which includes Gillig buses, Cummins, Allison, CAT heavy equipment, and more. This position offers a competitive salary of $45 - $48 per hour, along with an attractive sign-on bonus of up to $4,000. Additionally, you will work four 10-hour days per week, providing you with a work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
- Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
- Provide road calls and emergency services when needed.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement required.
- Minimum 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair experience.
- Mechanic's toolset and ASE certifications.
- Willingness to participate in company ASE certification program.
