Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Subacute Rehabilitation Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in the subacute rehabilitation unit, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to provide individualized nursing care to residents and ensure their needs are met. This position requires a compassionate and motivated individual who is committed to helping others.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Attend to daily operations of the unit and assume leadership responsibilities when necessary.
- Work in a collaborative team environment to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing.
- AHA CPR Certification and basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with medical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and specialty beds.
- Less than one year of experience required.
