Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, fully stocked, and offering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness to create a welcoming shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts, Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and suggest improvements
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and ensure data security
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow company standards
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team
• Compliance with state and local regulations for selling alcohol

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior retail experience preferred
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
