Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and follow the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills guidelines.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Adhere to company policies and ensure document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older to apply.
- Ability to deliver prompt and polite customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
- Conduct general cleaning tasks following company standards.
- Interpret and implement company policies and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work both independently and within a team effectively.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Fulfill state and local alcohol-handling requirements.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
