Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the store to ensure a great shopping experience for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise
- Assist customers with their shopping needs and provide exceptional service
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
- Follow company policies and procedures to maintain security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe and proper equipment operation
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in retail preferred
