Job Description
We are hiring a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in the merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and overall upkeep of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for customers. You will work collaboratively with the ALDI team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to the store's success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store operations.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Follow cash handling procedures and company policies.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to operate a cash register and various store equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- High school diploma preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
