Counselor (part-time)

Job Description

Join Lycoming College as a part-time Counselor in our Counseling Services team! You will provide counseling services to students, develop outreach programs, offer crisis intervention, and ensure the well-being of our diverse student population. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and crisis intervention.
• Deliver counseling services to individuals and groups, including specific populations.
• Collaborate with the college community to support students' psychological needs.
• Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality.
• Develop and provide psycho-educational and risk-reduction programming.

Requirements

• Master's degree and appropriate licensure.
• Experience in clinical counseling services for college-aged populations.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and multicultural competencies.
• Professional knowledge of suicide assessment and crisis management.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and writing skills.
• Desire to contribute to an inclusive campus community.
