Job Description
We are seeking a talented Physical Security Customer and Facility Installation Specialist to join Flexential's team. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Security Installation Lead Engineer to plan, schedule, supervise, and implement installation projects, source technologies and labor, as well as program and troubleshoot physical security systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure servers, workstations, and other components.
- Lead physical security installations and resolve related issues.
- Plan, supervise, and control security system implementations.
- Procure equipment and prepare necessary reports.
- Evaluate system performance and ensure minimal malfunctions.
- Maintain technical knowledge and keep stakeholders informed.
- Manage construction projects and coordinate activities.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Design, implement, and audit physical security systems.
- Communicate with end users and ensure system compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate effectively and respond to project disruptions.
- Experience supervising vendors and managing projects.
- Technical expertise in low voltage security systems.
- Knowledge of networking, switch configuration, and security devices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to evolving technology and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASIS Certification.
- Experience in access control and CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of network design and software applications.
- Skills in Visio, CAD, and Video Management Systems.
- Service Now or ticket management systems familiarity.
Physical Requirements
- Sit for extended periods, walk, stand, and lift weight as required.
- Travel may be necessary.
