Description
The IT Support Specialist at 3SI Security Systems Inc is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization's information technology systems and infrastructure. This role involves offering technical assistance to employees, overseeing IT projects, and collaborating with various departments to address the organization's technology requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide end-user technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and manage computer systems, servers, networks, and IT equipment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage software licenses, updates, and security patches.
- Participate in IT infrastructure planning, implementation, and maintenance.
- Coordinate IT projects, ensuring deadlines and budget requirements are met.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user guides.
- Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices for data security and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience with IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in operating systems, networking protocols, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies.
Location: Malvern, PA
Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days in the office
Travel: < 10% for company events and meetings
