Hospice Registered Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Hospice is currently looking for a passionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Cumberland County. As a hospice RN, you will apply your knowledge of nursing theories and concepts to provide compassionate care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Apply nursing theories and concepts to deliver quality care.
• Coordinate patient care with the Hospice team, family, and physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and agency personnel.
• Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience and one year of hospice nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to travel based on agency needs and work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
