Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential is a critical role responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to customers and resources. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, and PC troubleshooting. Successful applicants will represent Flexential professionally and technically during customer interactions, demonstrating calm and professional conduct at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Troubleshoot technical problems using Flexential's ticketing system.
- Follow and implement Flexential Support and Data Center policies and procedures.
- Perform local access and escort duties for vendors and carriers.
- Assist with physical and logical installations of Flexential services.
- Maintain Data Center cleanliness and complete Facilities Rounds.
- Handle inbound and outbound shipping/receiving tasks.
- Operate the Badge Access Security System and support Critical Infrastructure Manager as needed.
- Work with management to maintain cabling and inventory levels.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for excellent customer service.
- Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-starter with strong communication skills.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and meeting deadlines.
- Preferred 1 year of experience in IT Support.
- IT certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, or Microsoft MCP/MCSA are desired.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Comfort working in cold temperatures and lifting heavy objects.
- Skills to manage pallet jacks and install cabling.

Base Pay Range
The salary range for this role is ($19.33-$22.67) per hour, subject to candidate experience and qualifications.
