Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure to take charge of the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment in our data centers, ensuring uptime of 99.999% or higher. You will lead a team of Critical Infrastructure Engineers (CIE) and drive cross-functional efforts to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Own the overall operation and maintenance of mission-critical equipment for 24x7 uptime.
• Coach and mentor team members on best practices.
• Lead market-wide initiatives to improve operations.
• Identify and implement improvements for operational and financial efficiencies.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and facility installations.
• Prepare performance and utilization reports.
• Develop maintenance procedures and training material.
• Conduct facility rounds and tours.
• Configure monitoring systems for equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of management experience with direct reports.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical or mechanical certifications.
• Experience in data center operations and management.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Advanced keyboard usage and occasional travel.

Base Pay Range

Annual salary range: $112,700 - $145,400, depending on experience and qualifications.
