Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills for the role.
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers during their shopping experience and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and other store issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies to minimize losses.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain security, and confidentiality of information.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register.
- Knowledge of equipment operation and general cleaning procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team.
- Meet all state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
