LPN **Tuition Assistance**

Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated LPN to join our team at Genesis Health as an LPN MDS Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the Resident Assessment Process through the completion of key items on the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and Care Area Assessments (CAAs) to ensure optimal patient care and nursing center reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Direct the interdisciplinary Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in compliance with guidelines.
• Develop individualized resident Care Plans, addressing resident needs and expected outcomes.
• Provide training on clinical content and electronic completion of MDS items to new team members.

Requirements

• LPN license in good standing.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with nursing and medical practices, laws, and regulations in long-term care.
• Proficiency in Windows applications; AccuMed experience is a plus.
• Previous MDS Coordinator experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.
