Job Description
We at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a part-time evening shift (3 pm - 11 pm). As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing nursing services, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including physical and mental conditions indicative of adverse changes.
- Notify the attending physician of emergencies and changes in patient conditions.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Licensed Practical Nurse, graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Will to work as charge nurses and during emergencies for adequate coverage.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients and follow doctors' orders.
- CPR certification is required annually.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
