LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) - YADKIN NURSING CARE CENTER

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time night shift position at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the direction of nursing services, observing patients for symptoms and reactions, notifying physicians of emergencies, and ensuring quality nursing care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance under RN supervision.
• Observe and assess patients for any adverse changes in condition.
• Notify attending physicians of emergencies and implement changes in orders as necessary.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Able to work as charge nurses and during emergencies for adequate coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified on an annual basis.
