Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for Licensed Practical Nurses to join the VitalCore Health Strategies team at Berrien County Jail in St. Joseph, Michigan. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering quality care within the scope of practice outlined by the local state nurse practice act. Responsibilities
- Deliver quality patient care under the direction of healthcare professionals.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and conditions.
- Document patient care activities accurately.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Active LPN license in the state of employment.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state laws and regulations governing practice.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies and aptitude.
