Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the ALDI team to enhance the overall shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related matters
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
- Follow company procedures to maintain store security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment
- Perform general cleaning duties and follow company policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively
- Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
