Job Description
Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) is seeking an Experienced Construction Inspector to join our team in Lawrence, KS. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and contract specifications across various construction projects. You will play a crucial role in reviewing construction drawings, attending meetings, maintaining inspection reports, and addressing any issues that may arise during the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.
- Review and interpret construction drawings.
- Attend meetings and address issues to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain inspection reports and logs.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with project stakeholders.
- Perform materials testing as needed.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of construction inspection experience.
- KDOT Inspection Experience preferred.
- KDOT CITT and ACI Certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments and travel as needed.
Requirements

- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction-related software.
