Summary/Objective:

As a Service Advisor at Auto Centers, you will consult with customers regarding their service needs. You will be responsible for scheduling service appointments, communicating directly with customers, and ensuring that work is completed by service technicians in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions:

• Communicate directly with customers regarding vehicle service.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Ensure work is completed by service technicians in a timely manner.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

• Analytical, problem-solving, and design skills.
• Excellent customer service and oral communication abilities.
• Experience in delegation, managing people, quality management, ethics, and safety procedures.

Preferred Education/Experience:

One year certificate from college or technical school, related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise non-supervisory service technicians in the service department.

Work Environment:

Work near moving mechanical parts with moderate noise.

Physical Demands:

Stand, talk, hear, walk, and occasionally sit.
