Construction Cost Project Analyst

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Construction Cost Project Analyst to join Aldi's National Real Estate Services team. In this role, you will manage construction costs on a national level, collaborating closely with divisional real estate teams to assess construction bids. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, architecture, or engineering and be proficient in analyzing construction documents to ensure alignment with project scope and regional cost trends.

Responsibilities

• Work with Construction Managers to negotiate with contractors.
• Collaborate with divisional Directors and Managers to clarify scopes and pricing.
• Provide pricing data and practices to ensure consistent pricing structures.
• Analyze bids and report to the National Real Estate Project Manager.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize construction practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and RS Means software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
