CDL Driver 1 (Rockford, IL)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, the premier environmental and emergency services company in the Eastern United States, is seeking a CDL Driver 1 to join our field operations team in Rockford, IL. As a CDL Driver / Operator, you will ensure safe equipment transport to job sites and assist with various industrial and environmental tasks, including hazardous waste management and emergency response initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Transport equipment to designated locations safely and efficiently.
• Participate in industrial and environmental cleaning activities.
• Conduct hazardous waste pick-up and disposal operations.
• Engage in emergency response and remediation projects as required.

Requirements

• CDL Class A or B license with tanker and/or HAZMAT endorsements preferred.
• Experience operating various vehicles and equipment such as vacuum trucks, roll-offs, box trucks, etc.
• Familiarity with chemical transfers and related equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT, EPA, and DEA regulations.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances including TWIC and eRailSafe.
