Job Description

We are hiring an Academic Instructor to join our team at Career Systems Development Corporation. As an instructor, you will be responsible for conducting and managing academic classes, assisting students in achieving educational milestones, and creating a positive learning environment. Your role will involve implementing curriculum resources, tracking student performance, and ensuring compliance with educational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct academic classes and manage classroom activities.
  • Help students achieve academic goals and educational milestones.
  • Promote a positive classroom atmosphere to enhance student motivation.
  • Maintain discipline within the classroom setting to ensure effective learning.
  • Document student records and input relevant data accurately.
  • Develop and implement curriculum through Educational Learning Plans.
  • Track student performance, provide feedback, and make award recommendations.
  • Assist in the completion of necessary Job Corps forms and student evaluations.
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness and prepare reports and evaluations promptly.
  • Monitor student progress and perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and certification to teach in the state where the center is located.
  • Preferred: One year of teaching experience with disadvantaged youth.
  • Knowledge of the required subject area, excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification, ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Ability to relate effectively to the student population.
