Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your focus on exceptional customer service and collaboration with the ALDI team will elevate the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and ensure neat merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures with confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient and accurate cash register operation
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers
• Adherence to cleaning standards and company policies
• Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience
