Job Description
We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join the ALDI team. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store operations such as merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your contribution will enhance the overall customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and equipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Stay organized, attentive to detail, and follow instructions accurately.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
