Store Operations Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a Store Operations Assistant to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, product stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and neatly stock shelves
• Assist customers, communicate with team members and provide feedback to management
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Handle cash transactions efficiently and uphold security measures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to operate cash register, equipment, and perform cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
