Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will play a crucial role in managing high-risk and chronically ill patients, providing direct care, offering patient education, and conducting triage services under the supervision of our healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices and age-appropriate care for pediatric patients.
• Assess the physical, emotional, and socio-economic needs of patients and families.
• Provide urgent in-office and telephone triage care, document nursing care accurately in the EMR system.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures efficiently.
• Coordinate post-discharge care to prevent complications and ensure patient well-being.
• Maintain continuing education and adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a care team.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and HIPAA compliance.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a current RN or LPN license in Massachusetts.
