Description:
We are looking for a Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join the Utah Transit Authority team. As an apprentice, you will participate in technical instruction, attend classroom instruction, and demonstrate competency in various modules related to maintenance and repair tasks. You will assist advanced-skill employees in complex repairs, perform preventative maintenance inspections, and carry out related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Class B CDL with passenger endorsement within 60 days of eligibility
- 2-year degree, military MOS, technical school experience, or UTA experience
Shift:
9:00 pm to 7:30 am with Sunday/Monday/Tuesday off*
*Shift & Days Off Subject to Change
Pay Rate:
Wage progression from $25.33 to $29.33 per hour, plus shift differentials
