Maritime Scheduler

Job Description

We are hiring a Maritime Scheduler to join Marine Hydraulics International, LLC. As a Scheduler, you will prepare detailed and integrated production schedules, update repair schedules, and provide essential reports. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Establish logical Work Breakdown Structure based on Work Items and reference drawings.
• Integrate work from different parties into a single schedule, ensuring proper sequencing and resource loading.
• Update schedules to reflect contract changes and progress updates.
• Analyze data for errors, recommend resolutions, and prepare status reports.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with Critical Path and Controlling Work analysis.
• Execute additional assignments as directed by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of project planning experience or completion of Scheduler-In-Training requirements at MHI.
• Prior experience in shipyard, industrial, or construction industry is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in scheduling software like Primavera P6 or MS Project, and Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, etc.).

Working Conditions

This on-site role involves office work with occasional outdoor exposure. Physical activities include sitting for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs., and potential climbing or stooping. The ability for accurate decision-making in a fast-paced environment is crucial.

Compensation

Salary Range: $58,000 - $74,000 per year.
