Manufacturing Process Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Manufacturing Process Specialist to drive global manufacturing performance improvement at Preformed Line Products. In this role, you will collaborate on equipment, process engineering, and product engineering to enhance manufacturing productivity and efficiency.

Essential Functions

• Lead technical process improvement and troubleshooting support for metal and plastic fabrication.
• Increase manufacturing productivity through process Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Coach site manufacturing engineering teams for development and adherence to manufacturing process standards.
• Drive improvement plans for helical wire processing equipment and maintain global proprietary machine design drawings.
• Provide recommendations for product development engineers and support PLM software implementation.
• Bring new manufacturing developments to PLP sites globally and assess overall operations performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of experience in engineering or management.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing technology and processing methods.
• Minimum of five years of management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and manufacturing software applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
