Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc as the Care Team Nurse. In this role, you will be the clinical leader of the care team, providing direct care, education to patients and families, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations. You will be responsible for managing high-risk patients, conducting triage, documenting nursing care, and facilitating communication among healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate infection control practices.
• Assess and address the needs of clients and families.
• Provide urgent triage care and crisis management.
• Document nursing care accurately using EMR.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform in-office procedures.
• Coordinate post-hospitalization care.
• Maintain pediatric-centered continuing education.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Proficiency in handling sensitive medical information.
• Working knowledge of EMR, Microsoft Office, and email.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) as required for licensure.
