Industrial Technician - Corpus Christi, TX

Job Description

We are looking for an Industrial Technician to join our team in Corpus Christi, TX. As an Industrial Technician at Konecranes, you will play a crucial role in conducting maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site, ensuring the safety and functionality of our equipment.

Principal Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service and troubleshooting support, including after-hours assistance.
• Document findings, recommend corrective actions, and consult with customers on repair and safety issues.
• Generate sales leads during service calls and stay updated on industry regulations.
• Complete service reports accurately and maintain company-issued equipment in working order.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work at heights, travel, work varied overtime, and participate in on-call rotations.
