Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Manager Trainee to join Aldi. As a Store Manager Trainee, you will undergo comprehensive training in all aspects of store management to prepare you for the responsibilities of running your store successfully. Your role will involve supervising daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staffing needs, and implementing operational plans while fostering team development.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the team to deliver top-notch customer service.
- Communicate and uphold the company's values to promote teamwork.
- Manage customer concerns to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain store signage and product quality and freshness.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of store personnel.
- Create and oversee work schedules to maintain adequate staffing levels.
- Set job expectations and provide performance feedback.
- Conduct store meetings and drive employee development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform store inventory management and merchandising tasks.
- Monitor store performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Understanding of budgeting principles and performance evaluation.
- Proficient in using a cash register and store equipment.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Previous retail and management experience preferred.
